Magazine Spread - 2024

Using hierarchy and grid styling layout with typography, I designed 2 spreads in memorial of Sinead O’Connor for my ART 363 course that relied heavily on punk themes and bold typography.

Skills: Typography, Adobe Indesign, and Adobe Photoshop

VHS Case Design - 2024

Utilizing textures and typography that encapsulate the retro aesthetic of the 1980s based Yellowjackets series, which forms the foundation of the television show, a VHS case was created to emulate those typically found in video stores with a bit of weathering. This project was executed using Adobe Photoshop.

Skills: Typography and Adobe Photoshop

Big Fog Cafe - 2024

For a typography course, I developed the Big Fog Cafe logo and other assets for a branding project. This allowed me to create a typography logo combining bold and handwritten styles to evoke the desired Wes Anderson and Woodsy feel for the fictional client.

Skills: Branding, Typography, and Adobe Illustrator

Boston Sound Alliance - 2024

The Boston Sound Alliance was an ART course project that used eccentric typography and graphic design elements inspired by Keith Haring to create a fictional music festival complete with a poster, wristband, and merchandise designing.

Skills: Branding, Adobe Photoshop, and Adobe Illustrator

Book Cover Design - 2024

For this art project, I took on the challenge of redesigning the book cover of "The Virgin Suicides" to deepen its plot and thematic elements. Drawing inspiration from the Lisbon sisters' personas and diary entries, which reflect their adolescent experiences, I incorporated my handwriting to create an adolescent look over the bright design, resulting in an evocative and bold effect.

Skills: Typography, Illustration, Adobe Indesign,  Adobe Illustrator, and Adobe Photoshop

Lawson Gardens: Seeking Solace - 2023

I served as creative director for the group project Lawson Gardens, a semester-long DTC 336 project, which we designed using Adobe software to encourage self-discovery through visual design. For this semester-long class project, I created a free-flowing environment using Photoshop, Indesign, and Illustrator that inspires visitors to explore their identities using posters, motion graphics, bags, and zine designs.

Skills: Branding, Creative Lead, and Adobe Photoshop

Award: DTC Excellence in Graphic Design and Visual Communication
